ENGRAM is a light sculpture created from a short recording of a collector’s brain activity while recalling a meaningful memory.
During a brief session, the collector engages with a memory, image, or film. The recorded neural activity is interpreted by a custom AI system and translated into five colors. Joy. Calm. Melancholy. Tension. Neutrality.
What remains is not the memory itself, but its trace.
A portrait without image. A moment without narrative. Reduced to its emotional structure.
Color moves slowly across a textile surface. Light shifts in tone and intensity, unfolding over time.
Not live. Not reactive. A recorded state, held in light.
An engram.
Each piece is unique. A singular emotional imprint, made visible.
